Webring
Web Rings A web ring is a group of web sites that have a similar focus or attract people of similar interests. Each of the web sites in the web ring displays some links to other sites in the ring. The idea is that people will visit one site in the ring and then proceed up and down the ring, visiting other sites in the ring as well and increasing traffic for everyone involved. Optimization Tips
Your Domain Name
Your domain name is one of the most overlooked portions of site promotion. It should be something easy to remember, as we all know, but when you submit it to the search engines if it doesn't really contain any of the keywords you plan to use, you are losing out on precious positioning. The idea is to get as many keywords as close to the top of your page as possible. Where else can you have your own keywords in the place the search engine spider is looking.
Find your Unique Selling Proposition and Stand Out from the Crowd!

In developing any business you must consider why customers come (or don't come) to your site, store, or office. What makes them pick you instead of your competitors? This is particularly important in the Internet environment. Sure, the market is massive but so is the competition. Thousands of sites provide business advice, shopping malls, games, travel services, marketing support, web tools, money- making schemes, etc., etc., etc…

The standard approach to getting customers is promote, promote, promote. But what are you promoting? To generate a return from promotion you must offer something unique. You need to stand out from the crowd and your unique selling proposition must be articulated in your promotion. This could relate to the services or products you provide, guarantees offered, delivery mechanism used, auxiliary services provided, pricing or any attribute associated with your business. However, it must be unique, it is useless promoting cheap prices if everyone else is promoting the same. If everyone were offering cheap prices you would be better off promoting higher prices for better quality and service (as long as you do provide better quality and service).

To find your unique selling proposition, become a customer. Stand back and look at what is on offer. Think about what's of value to you as a customer. Identify the unique services or features that will make your offer different. Incorporate these into your business and tell the world.
