Question: I am trying to sell a uniquely flavored dry cat food & have had no success at it. My URL is http://www.CajunCrawKitty.com
I have very little budget to advertise & I have only tried Google AdWords with a budget of $50/mo. Is there any thing you could think of that I could do with a budget of say $150/mo. or less?
Since you have a small budget I would try using some guerilla marketing strategies and tactics.
You have to first narrow your focus way down- you might want to try building alliances with pet food sellers (i.e. pets.com or equivalent-distribution is the key here). Have you talked with super market chains? Boutique pets stores? Have you tried to get the product displayed on national TV- perhaps Jay Leno might find it novel enough to mention it it on his show?
You have to drive the business to your distribution outlets and/or site and that means some form of advertising.
Regards,
Rene
